The Testicular Ultrasound Scan provides a detailed, real-time assessment of the testicles and surrounding scrotal structures. It is a non-invasive imaging test used to investigate testicular pain, swelling, lumps, asymmetry, or other changes in the scrotum.
This scan is particularly helpful for identifying cysts, varicoceles, hydroceles, inflammation, torsion, or other structural abnormalities. It supports early clarification of symptoms and timely onward management where required.

You will be positioned comfortably with the area(s) exposed
Ultrasound gel is applied to the skin
A handheld probe is moved over the shoulder to capture live images
The procedure is painless and typically takes 15–20 minutes
At Home (Home Visit):
A clinician visits your home with portable ultrasound equipment
The scan is performed in the same way as in clinic, offering added convenience
