Iron Profile Plus

ABOUT THIS TEST

This test provides a deeper assessment of your iron status by combining a standard iron profile with folate, an essential nutrient required for red blood cell production, DNA synthesis, and energy metabolism. Together, these markers help identify causes of fatigue, weakness, hair thinning, low mood, and symptoms related to anaemia or nutrient deficiency.

This panel is useful for understanding whether low energy or blood-related symptoms are due to iron deficiency, poor iron utilisation, or folate insufficiency — supporting targeted nutritional and clinical decisions.
