ABOUT THIS TEST 

The Presentation Scan (36–40 weeks) is an ultrasound scan used in late pregnancy to assess the baby’s position in preparation for birth. It provides real-time imaging to confirm whether the baby is head-down (cephalic), breech, or in another position. 

This scan is particularly helpful in the final weeks of pregnancy to support birth planning and decision-making. It also offers reassurance by confirming fetal movement and wellbeing at this stage. 

Suitable for individuals between 36 and 40 weeks of pregnancy who wish to confirm fetal presentation ahead of delivery.

A clinician visits your home with portable ultrasound equipment
The scan is performed in the same way as in clinic, offering added convenience
