Hip Ultrasound Scan

ABOUT THIS TEST

The Hip Ultrasound Scan provides a detailed, real-time assessment of the soft tissues, tendons, ligaments, and fluid structures around the hip joint. It is a non-invasive imaging test used to investigate hip pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, instability, or discomfort during movement or weight-bearing.

This scan is particularly helpful for identifying tendon pathology, bursitis, joint effusions, inflammatory changes, and soft tissue abnormalities. Dynamic imaging allows assessment during movement, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Suitable for acute injuries, chronic hip pain, sports-related strain, mobility concerns, or preventative joint assessment.
