Gender Scan (16–40 weeks)

ABOUT THIS TEST

The Gender Scan (16–40 weeks) is an ultrasound scan used to determine the baby’s sex during pregnancy. It provides real-time imaging to assess fetal position and visualise external genitalia where conditions allow.

This scan is particularly popular for parents wishing to find out their baby’s sex for planning or personal reasons. While gender identification is the primary focus, the scan also offers reassurance by confirming fetal movement and wellbeing at the time of the appointment.

Suitable for individuals from 16 weeks onwards who wish to know their baby’s sex.
